Two Videos from The Perishers Plus MP3

Last year's Perishers' album Let There Be Morning was one of those albums that got filed away on my CD shelf and forgotten about, that is until I recently added a CD player to my bathroom (I finally realized the shower is the perfect place to review new music). I pulled the CD off the shelf and fell in love with the album all over again. A liitle googling and I found out that The Perisher's music has made it onto the soundtracks of sucj thought provoking shows as The O.C., One Tree Hill, and Veronica Mars. (Actually, I'm not even being snarky about Veronica Mars, I finished the last 5 episodes of season two yesterday and like, OMG!)

Anyway, with the rise in popularity of bands like Athlete and Snow Patrol (trust me, they're both on The Last Kiss Soundtrack) this album is going to be considered an overlooked gem.

As for what thye are up to now, The Perishers are currently hard at work on their third album. In June they began recording in the city of Malmö.











I fully expect their next album, if it's half as good as their last, to be their breakthrough. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, I plan to check out their 2002 album From Nothing to One
