New Evanessence Video - Call Me When You're Sober
Amy Lee, by herself, is attractive and has a great voice, but she's from Little Rock, and therefore, can't help but think she needs to add a Linkin Park backbeat to every song. She can't help it ya'll. The only good parts of this song are the breakdowns. The lyrics could definitely used a good rewrite too, Lee rhymes hated with jaded, believe with decieve, blame with shame, and a bunch of other words you might find in a journal written by a 15-year-old. It's obviously her material that makes her seem like a goth Tori Amos crossed with POD. And I ain't hating on the goth or the Amos. I'm hoping it's just a phase and she'll grow out of it.
