New Panic Channel (Dave Navarro) - Why Cry

Ok, so regular readers of this blog know that I try to stay away from the snark, as much as possible, cause it's seriously the most boring thing in the world to make fun of easy targets and tear down people who are out there trying to make something happen. I falter on occasion, but it is definitely a goal of mine to only put out positive vibes and instead of making fun of other people, spend that time creating something that makes me grow as a person. Having said all of that, I am not going to go into any of the reasons why this video is upsetting to me, and I am certainly not going to mention Navarro's contribution to two of my favorite bands of the 90's, i.e. Jane's Addiction and Red Hot Chili Peppers - if you were there then you understand how groundbreaking these two acts were. I have to assume that he's going through a hard time right now with his divorce and all, and is suffering from some pretty poor judgement right now, i.e. the tv show Rockstar.

But I can not let another day pass without calling out Steve Isaacs for copping my look from High School circa 1989. I have a picture around here somewhere, but I don't really feel the need to revisit that moment in time. Oh, and is that a peace sign behind them in their press photo? There are no words...
