Goner Records has once again outdone itself in releasing this career-spanning anthology from Ross Johnson, formerly of the Panther Burns. Make it Stop! can best described as a collection of alcohol-fueled, mostly-improvised, highly funny rants, set to music that's, well, all over the damn place. . . in a really good way. And when Ross really gets to carrying on, there's no stopping him or the belly-laughs. Guests on the album include REM's Peter Buck, Alex Chilton, Jon Spencer, Jeffrey Evans, Ron Franklin and Lorette Velvette.
