Athlete Return With Third Album

Athlete have announced details of their 3rd album. Beyond the Neighbourhood will be released in the U.S. on September 25th and is the follow-up to 2005's Tourist. The English quartet recorded the album during the summer of 2006 in their South London studio. The previous year year and half was spent touring the world, capped off by "Wires" winning the Ivor Novello Award for "Best Contemporary Song." The first single off the new album will be "Hurricane." No word yet on any U.S. tour dates.
