The Decemberists Confirm Tour Dates
Pre-Sale Info
Pre-sale tickets for Decemberists upcoming spring US tour dates will be available through Ducat King. The pre-sale begins on Tuesday, 1/23 at 1:00 pm local time for each venue (so, for shows in Boston that's 1:00 pm EST. For Chicago, 1:00 pm CST. And for Seattle, 1:00 pm PST). Tickets for the University of IL date will not be offered for pre-sale until a later to be determined date.
$1.00 of each pre-sale ticket sold will go to Sisters of the Road, an organization helping Portland homeless.

DECEMBERISTS SPRING U.S.
TOUR DATES CONFIRMED
2007 POSSIBLY EVEN BETTER THAN 2006,
ALBEIT WITH POTENTIALLY LESS COLBERT
(New York, NY) – As good years go, 2006 was a particularly good one for The Decemberists. Their Capitol Records debut, The Crane Wife, arrived to great acclaim, landing on numerous year-end “best of” lists including #1 slots at NPR, Paste and others; a U.S. tour went over like gangbusters from coast-to-coast; and a much-publicized guitar showdown with Stephen Colbert resulted in Dr. Henry Kissinger, Peter Frampton and Elliot Spitzer showing up in more Decemberists Google searches than ever before.
The good stuff keeps on coming in 2007, but we can only reveal so much this early in the game. Like the spring tour dates, we can give those up right here:
