In better news, the rest of my cohorts, Amrit and Scott from Stereogum, and Chris from Gorilla vs. Bear, have arrived, so be sure to check their sites for their up to the minute coverage. (Um, that was sarcasm by the way!, but we'll do our best!)
The festival this year is set up very similarly to Lollapalooza. Instead of kidzapalooza, they have Austin Kiddie Limits, their stage isn't as star-packed as the Chicago show, but i will definitely be making my way over there at some point to check it out.
One special feature of this festival is the ability to have setlists text messaged to you directly after the performance. You just text "setlist" and your email to 56658 and you'll get an email with a link to ACL setlists. I'm about to try it. I'll let you know how it goes.
