MUSIC NEWS: Cat Power Cancels Spring Tour, Health Reasons Cited

Citing health concerns, Cat Power (aka Chan Marshall) has cancelled ALL dates on her highly-anticipated spring your with the Memphis Rhythm Band. The cancellation was confirmed by her North American booking agents this afternoon by phone. A statement posted to the Gibson website stated, "Our thoughts are with Chan at this time, and we hope to see her back on tour soon." Refunds for advance purchase tickets for the Memphis show will be made available through MusicToday's website. Cat Power's latest album, The Greatest, is currently available for purchase.
