Au Revoir Simone - Back In Time

Like a lo-fi female version of the Postal Service, Au Revoir Simone is definitely on to something. The Brooklyn based trio consists of three keyboard players whose love for all things ethereal and dreamy is very apparent. The band was named after a character in an early Tim Burton film, while their new album was named after a tiny book one of the band members received in the mail at work entitled "Verses of Comfort, Assurance and Salvation." Those two incidents should give you an inclination of the the tone and mood of their self-released debut. The album will be released in the UK through Moshi Moshi Music on November 3rd and is already available in Japan.
