Stellastarr* - Sweet Troubled Soul

That's right, it's new music Tuesday, and here's a track I know a ton of people have been dying to hear. It's from the forthcoming album from Stellastarr* entitled Harmonies for the Haunted. The interesting thing about this group, sprung from friendships formed at Pratt Institute in NYC during the late nineties, is that they manage to be influenced by so many different types of music while still sounding fresh and innovative. Just as Ryan Adams wears his influences on his sleeve while continuing to present a very specific sound of his own, Stellastarr* continues to weave in and out of goth, new wave and even grunge with a distinct flair and entirely recognizable sound.
