Clor - Good Stuff

While listening to the new Clor album, simply entitled Clor, due for a UK release next week, it's virtually impossible for me not to bounce around in my seat. You like Devo, you like Kraftwork, you like Clor. With less prentension than The Killers and better production value than The Bravery, these indie-electro press darlings claim they are influenced by everyone from Bonnie Prince Billy to Sparks (not the hipster drink, the band, silly).

They've already been named one of the must see bands of 2005 by NME and have a Top 40 smash, Love & Pain, in the UK. If you're not convinced of their quirkiness by listening to the sample tracks here, be sure to check out the videos linked in the sidebar. They were directed by lead singer Barry Dobbin's girlfriend and are an interesting view to say the least.
