What is the effing deal with Pete Doherty? Why is everyone so enamoured with this crackhead criminal? I don't get it. I know better. Really, I do. I hate to give him any accolades at all, but to tell you the truth, I'm glued to his antics like Stereogum's obsessed with Britney.

This is the third English single from the highly anticipated debut album from Babyshambles, which was formed by Doherty after his departure from the Libertines. It pretty much lays out the decision he is going to have to make: Clean up his act or go down in a blaze of glory. Doherty's drug woes have been well documented all over the internerd and in the tabloids, from his continual cancelation of shows, to asking fans to send him money to get back to London after going AWOL from a treatment center in Bangkok, to his supposed open crack use with girlfriend Kate Moss at the Glastonbury Festival. I'm surprised there isn't a Pete Doherty DeathWatch website yet.

The Libertines were supposed to save rock n roll, instead let's just hope Doherty finds a way to save himself.
