Tribeca - Solitude

So, we got websheriff'ed this weekend for copyright infringement. Our domain host killed the site, but you can still access it by subtracting the www from the website address. Anyway, we actually had permission to use the content, and it wasn't even downloadable, it seems there was some miscommunication between some folks. The biggest problem I have with the whole thing is that this site was taken offline before we could even answer the complaint against us. Looks like we might be looking for a new company to register our domain with.

It's so interesting how when Americans are cheesy it makes me cringe, but when it's the Brits, or as in this case, the Swedes, it's sort of endearing. I came across Tribeca a few weeks ago and I've been rocking these tracks on a daily basis ever since. It's pure electronic sugar overload and I love it. One day soon, someone is going to produce an ironic send-up of '80's style John Hugh's films, ala, Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club, and if these guys are not on the soundtrack it will be a tragedy.

I haven't been able to find the album on any site that's in english yet, but I'm still looking. I wish I could tell you more about them, but they're pretty googlefucked in terms of their band name and I've only been able to find limited info on them through their label bio. Anyone else heard of them or know any info?
