Manutacture - As The End Draws Near

Upon attending a goth night put on by MIG Project at a local club here in town, i have woken up to the songs of my younger industrial years throbbing in my head. SO of course I gotta go and pull out summin old to amuse you with.

Manufacture were a two piece outfit with a clean tight, and quite German, approach to industrial dance music back in 1987. While this album wasn't the most original thing in this genre, it had good dancefloor appeal and enough grinding metallic madness and glitched out agro samples to keep the little monster inside happy. The most notable track from this is the posted song "As The End Draws Near', with vocals done by little Ms. Sarah McLachlan herself. Haunting strains with a simple yet infectious beat. I think this track holds its' own rather well to the test of time, but what do I know?
