JD and the Evil's Dynamite Band - Beer (So Nice), Right On

Another emusic find here, this time an essential selection of funky beats that sound like they were recorded on 500-count 7-inch pressings in 1974, but which were actually recorded in the early '00s for New York-based Soul Fire label. "The Majestic Collection: The Best of Soul Fire Records", a retrospective anthology of the apparently defunct label, was released this past May on Truth & Soul Records/Fastlife Music.

Nothing fancy here, just a funky-ass vamp that will screw your face up into a "Damn, that shit is hot!" grimace. It's JD and the Evil's Dynamite Band, and I can't really argue with the message of the tune, right? Enjoy this funky shit.
