Stetsasonic - 4 Ever My Beat

On Fire is the debut album from Stetsasonic. It was released in 1986 and engineered by Prince Paul who most recently has teamed up with Dan the Automator to form Handsome Boy Modeling School. Stetsasonic is often called one of the progenitors of "positive black conciousness" which apparently means a song about double-teaming a hooker (Faye) alongside a song about liberating South Africa (A.F.R.I.C.A.). But whatever. I'm a proponent of putting everything out there.

But seriously 4 Ever My Beat is a fun song even if it's only for novelty purposes. Play this out and hope that someone in the club has some breakdancing skills.
