Snow Patrol - How To Be Dead

So, I have just arrived back in the states from an incredible trip to Amsterdam and Antwerp. After being emersed in European culture, record shops, music and videos for 6 days, I have tons of new tunes to tell you about. Snow Patrol is not one of them. I have had their latest album Final Straw for about 6 months. When I was going through my CD's to choose which ones to take with me on my trip, I chose the ones that I had listened to the least (BTW, riding on a tram in another country with your CD player while you take in the city is a great way to get more aquainted with overlooked records from your collection.) Anyway, this song is the one that hit me the hardest while listening to it in my hotel room after a night of mushrooms, hash, dank bud and vodka tonics, all while participating in an existential crisis. Fun stuff.

Anyway, this is a record that has grown on me immensely. It's one that you might listen to a few times and put away, cause it didn't grab you by the throat. Then you pull it out again later and freak out because it is so good and you almost didn't see it. Of course, everything sounds better in the right environment. Right?
