Graham Coxon - Bittersweet Bundle of Misery

I became aquainted with Blur after their album 13 came out in 1999. The video for Coffee & TV was all over MTV2 that summer and I just happened to be interning there. I checked out some reviews and read about their newly minted Pavement influences and bought the album. I listened to it all summer and then put it away and promptly forgot about it. Thats the way things go, you get into a band for a minute and then you move on. No harm, no foul.

So then, a few months ago a friend of mine gave me Happiness in Magazines. I was like, "Who the hell is Graham Coxon?"

The album some how ended up under the front seat of my car (sorry Jax!) until I came across it by accident earlier this month and popped it into the CD player, where it has yet to be removed. What caught me right away was this track that so blatently rips off Coffee & TV. I was like, "OMG! How can this guy get away with straight up stealing this guitar riff?"

Then with a little research, I found out that he wrote it. Until 2002 Graham Coxon was the guitarist and co-songwriter for Blur. But that's another story. Anyway, Coxon is hitting the states this March, check his website for tour dates. As usual, he's coming nowhere near Memphis. Anyone know when the US release date for this album is?
