Aphex Twin (Richard D. James) - ON

Some might call Richard one of the most influential EDM artists of all time and others might call him one of the biggest flops of the rave era. Regardless of what the reviews say, I implore you to judge for yourself. If you ever have had the chance to see this man perform, you'll agree it's full of movement, mystery and amazement all at once. The sounds created from a man who only sleeps a few hours a night and creates his own keyboards and who knows what else, are simply put, "mindblowing!" Other artists such as Prodigy and Radiohead have even used parts of his songs in their own. To me that's ultimate flattery. Mr. James even created a twisted video in which every busty and beautiful babe had his head atop of their shoulders, entitled WINDOWLICKER. I'm sure you guys will find him either amazing or appalling but you'll still walk away having been touched by his genius. ON is by far one of the most treasured of all AFX compositions because of its graceful combination of raw and refined, yin and yang, beauty and beast.
