I should be ashamed of myself. I haven't posted in who knows how long. I get a little busy and all my lofty passion turns to neglect. I find myself agonizingly rocking to-and-fro in the corner, beset by the demons of work, wishing for death... or at least beer. Or maybe it's just that The Faint makes me feel overwhelmingly goth, especially "How Could I Forget." I mean I know they're quite the hispter indie act on the hipsterest, indiest label of them all, but they're so goddamned silly-dark. I am not even sure whether or not I like The Faint's new LP (I loved "Danse Macabre"), but it gives me a strange kind of pleasure, the kind reserved for the dyed-blueblack, leather-clad 17-year-old lurking in the tiniest, most remote recesses of my psyche. There I go again with the goth. Anyway, my verdict is still out, though "Wet From Birth" has been out for a month or so. Direction? Opinions? Advice?
