Fingerless, open-knuckle drivers. Best steel pocket comb. Keys to the '66 Riviera. "Pattern Recognition" sets this album off with a "bad-ass-mellow" ride. Does this album really need to be reviewed? No. But in case you're under a rock, I am writing this to help you out. It's the classic Sonic Youth album. Smart-as-hell guitar, solid, steady drums and Kim Gordon's eerie-sexy vocals are seductive as ever (especially on "I Love Golden Blue"). It's just plain good Rock 'n' Roll. Listen loud! Don't expect the enhanced CD features to work though - mine tries to link to an online location, which doesn't open. Maybe they don't think people are actually purchasing it. Well you should! You can't not buy this.
