Sleater-Kinney - Oh

I know, I know. You prefer Dig Me Out, the original riot grrl hand book put to music. Smart girls that rock; is there anyting sexier? But when you tell me that, like you're all old-school and you say "sleeter-kinney" instead of "slayter kinney," I will always laugh at you. Anyway, uber-hipster, I implore you to consider Sleater-Kinney's 2002 release One Beat as a more acccomplished culmintation of their wit, intelligence and agenda. Released shortly afer the tragedy of September 11th, these three women took their politics and put them to a righteous beat. And that wasn't enough, they also support really cool causes like Rock 'n Roll Camp for Girls which I so wish I could have gone to insead of lame bible camp.
