Johnny Cash - Personal Jesus (Depeche Mode Cover)

The man in black covers this Depeche Mode track in a tone that feels more suitable than the original. Personal Jesus to me is a song about the saviour within yourself, and to everyone else it is, well, whatever your Personal Jesus is. Cash being close to his demise when this song was recorded makes me feel as if he has been and sought that Jesus throughout his life. This tune appears on American IV: The Man Comes Around recorded in 2002. Take a listen and let me know what your opinions are.
