Ellen Allien - Astral

I haven't posted in forever! I am in a hurry so I have to make this quick. Please excuse mistakes. "Astral" is the latest single by Berlin's techno darling, Ellen Allien. She and her labelmates at Bpitch Control produce the most unique techno I've heard in years. It draws from zillions of cultural sources, sounds distinct without crossing over into unlistenable experimentality, and remains great on the dancefloor all the while. Ellen Allien id my favorite Bpitch Controller (close second is Kiki), and her early 2003 LP "Berlinette" is one of the best electronic albums of all time. Allien is also quite gorgeous, and I really want to ask her for a date. Damn, I can't ask her for a date because it would get me into trouble and I am in love. But if I were not in love, I would ask Ellen Allien for a date. Hmmm.... I'll just play her records.
