Let's take a ride in the way-back-machine and talk about Concrete Blonde. I know you know all about Bloodletting and Joey, Caroline, and Wendy. Vampire lover Johnette Napolitano's deep vocals were the first step in my introduction to Anne Rice and the goth-side. Ahh, to be 15 again.

I've read that Napolitano wishes that "Bloodletting had never seen the light of day. It was written during a dark period of her life and the songs on this album reflect that." So, I figure I'd share with you the song that put them on the map back in 1989 from their second album Free. They released a new album entitled Mojave back in June.
